This artwork is created on 140lb watercolour paper 17″ by 15″ to which I added white tissue paper in some areas of the sea before adding in the wave shapes using string threads and then painting the whole piece with watercolour.  This sort of artwork can take up many hours but is very enjoyable – Louise Barson
